Os Mutantes: psych legends' new album out on April 30
The legendary Sixties band reunited in 2006 and since then released a full album called "Haih or Amortecedor" in 2009 - their first in 35 years. The next work is called "Fool Metal Jack" and the only original member left is Sérgio Dias (vocals, guitars, organ, cello, percussion & harmonica).
Os Mutantes are one of the most influential psychedelic rock bands from Brazil and influenced many contemporary rock acts, from Nirvana to Beck, just to name a couple.
Their special blend of psychedelia and tropicalism remains unbeaten and they participated in the Tropicália movement, playing with giants such as Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil.
