Power
Greed has poisoned men's souls,
has barracaded the world with hate,
has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.
We have developed speed,
but we have shut ourselves in.
Machinery that gives abundance
has left us in want.
Our knowledge has made us cynical,
our cleverness hard and unkind.
We think too much and feel too little.
More than machinery, we need humanity.
More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.
Without these qualities, life will be violent, and all will be lost.
Soldiers, don't give yourselves to brutes.
Men who despise you and slave you,
will regiment your lives,
tell you what to do,
what to think,
or what to feel.
Who drill you,
diet you,
treat you like cattle,
use you as cannon fodder.
Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men,
machine men,
with machine minds,
and machine hearts.
You are not machines,
you are not cattle,
you are men!
In the seventeenth chapter of Saint Luke it is written; the kingdom of God is within man,
not one man, nor a group of men,
but in all men,
in you.
You, The People, have the power.
The power to create machines,
the power to create happiness.
You, The People, have the power.

Never bowed down for any man but God.
Stood tall on my feet and pursued my art.
As a man I was able to lose and fall,
but to get back up, for me, was an easy thought.
As long as I have the freedom to do what I want,
gave my all and came fighting and swinging hard.
Ain't giving up on my dream after how long I've fought.
I gotta feel it in my limited time,
with my one life, one shot,
so imma give it all that I got.
Promise that until the day that I rot.
I wanna spread the truth and emotion,
and maybe touch some souls.
Humbly watching to see how this all unfolds.
I express my mind with all these brushstrokes.
That must be why I'm so cutthroat.
More great minds I feel the world must know.
With all this power and control,
I keep asking, yo, where will we go?
People are always promoting peace with others when allllll this shit,
and much more is going on around us.
Well, before we can have that truly envied desire, we need to find peace in ourselves.
Love doesn't cease when you die.
Solidify your soul and mind,
spread love,
we'll be fine.
Would you recognize
it's a need I've been fighting for so long?
Would you recognize
it's a hunger only you can feel.
What do I do
with all these feelings
warming me up inside?
What do I do
with all these precious hours dreaming of you?
And would you recognize
it's a need I've been fighting for so long?
Would you recognize
it's a hunger only you can feel?

I have obtained the power to move on,
so in my songs, the paper that I write on,
I'm only bettering my situation,
and paving the way for people like me across the nation.
I just hope that I get by.
All the while, imma smile and be creative.
Instead of greed, need, and want,
imma go ahead and give my life, lines, and heart to the ones listenin'.
I'll never dumb it down
because it's not a dumb vision.
Growing up with everything I did,
I was never one to give in.
It's a hunger and it ain't always fun hungry living.
I wanna be able to do what I love
and feed my future children.
So to you,
I'm kicking
in your eardrums.
Stand with me son.
March with me,
united like I'm Caesar to the gate front
because we should all be standing as one!
()
I wanna stand with you
against animosity, antipathy, dismembership, malice.
I'd like to call you sometime.
I'd like you to need me one time.
God.
Music.
Beauty.
Greatness.
