My headlights don't shine as bright as they used to
It's hard to see the black ice on the road when I only have the fog to look into
The deafening sound from my car speakers keeps me from thinking about what I did
To get you to where you are now

Now I'm pacing back and forth between hospital rooms looking for you
These flowers are wilting in my clenched fist
