The Haunted House

The kids never listened to the crazy cat lady down the road
They wouldn't heed her warnings or do as they were told

That house is not safe - send you to an early grave
No one who has ever gone in - has ever come out - oh that haunted house

There was a boy who thought he was so brave
Went to stay the night - but couldn't stay awake
He ignored parents and his friends
He never was seen or heard from again

I keep watch on Halloween night
When this haunted house comes alive
You may not believe
But I've seen it with my own eyes

That house is not safe - send you to an early grave
No one who has ever gone in - has ever come out
So you better stay clear of the haunted house
Doom you will greet at the end of the street
You'll do well if you heed my warning

A dummy sitting on a chair -- seems to move, but no one is there
A witch cackle and a zombie moan - this ain't a place you want to call home
A draft blows and tussles your hair - and you could almost swear- someone was there
The haunted house is giving all it has - to scare you till you're completely mad

Debra the hottest girl in class - short skirt - high heels - but mean for days
She wanted to make young Billy prove his love by a long nights stay
She showed up and went on in, to find out Billy didn't fall for it
Debra disappeared that very night - cursed to haunt the place on Halloween night

That house is not safe - send you to an early grave
No one who has ever gone in - has ever come out
So you better stay clear of the haunted house-
Oh that haunted house - Oh that haunted house
Doom you will greet at the end of the street
You'll do well if you heed my warning
