Little Boat
Got a medal for rising above the
tall waves that keep crashing right in.
Didn't mean to say it like this,
but you were part of the deafening din.
Little boat has been rowed down the
bay, smashed to pieces all over the shore.
It's clear to see there's no use in
believing this boat won't float any more.
Now the tide it rises again
takes the wreckage with it out to the sea.
Something good in the way that it happens,
washed the boat and a soul and we're free.
Now I stand there,
void of my resistance, in the wisdom of the stillness I see.
Now I stand there,
horizon in the distance, surrounded by the calm of the sea.
Took the medal for rising above
the tall waves that keep crashing right in.
Couldn't really say any more that you were part of the deafening din.
Now I stand there,
void of my resistance, in the wisdom of the stillness I see.
Now I stand there,
horizon in the distance, surrounded by the calm of the sea.
BRIDGE Ooo little boat is waiting to sail on the tides again.
Out on peaceful waters to the place where the winds begin.
tall waves that keep crashing right in.
Didn't mean to say it like this,
but you were part of the deafening din.
Little boat has been rowed down the
