Trapdoor

I see the greyscale world and
Understand that life is so black and White
So many lines, so many divides
Haves and have nots
Strewn across dark, political lines
With anthemic resides of patriotism
And nationalistic ties
Hold your right hand up
Across your ventricular pipes
And articulate a love of God and Land
Dispel those atheistic lies
Only true believers
All others I despise

Falling through the trapdoor

A man who loves his land said to me
You gotta know one single thing
That culture is often readily, a Parody of those unseen
And only when the mind behind
The looking glass starts to unwind
May we find, the common theme
That remains unknown to the
Common pleb
And I find time like everyday
To question my indentity
And I'm running these bases
It's like baseball and I'm David Ortiz
Up in this bitch
And was this the life that my mom
Had planned
For her first born seed
And if I failed you, please momma
Forgive me

Falling through the trapdoor
