Touch of His Hands

Who knew His hands would ever hold a hammer
But His father was a builder and so He did
As the boy grew turned into a man
Still unknown throughout the land
Nothing stayed the same about those hands

Time went on and soon those hands were healing
Making the lame man to walk again
They were clearing out the temple
Encouraging the people
And everywhere He went it was those hands

They were scarred they were bruised
Crushed and pierced through
Seemed like those hands had been through everything
But they were gentle they were kind
They opened up my eyes
And I'll never, no never forget
The touch of His hands

Until we safely cross over Jordan
Those hands will wipe the tears from our eyes
They will cheer us and protect us
Never letting go of us

They were scarred they were bruised
Crushed and pierced through
Seemed like those hands had been through everything
But they were gentle they were kind
They opened up my eyes
And I'll never, no never forget
The touch of His hands

The touch of His hands
