Provisional Palanquin (Corpse Carrier)
I, standing at a funeral
Mourn the loss of my fallen kin
Atramentous clouds hang over
Symbolizing our grief
Fell tempests doth blow
Followed by demonic image
The casket with my kin
Forcibly relinquished from this ceremony
A kasha arrives in a feline's form
Equipped with a cart to act as the dead's dorm
Taken away in a provisional palanquin
The most fearful of horrors that I have seen
Fueling the pyres of former hell
Another tale of woe your soul will tell
Holy retribution for the depths you fell
I arrive at the toll of the bell
I carry the corpses for
My master, and for the
Fires that will otherwise
Die just like its kindling
A kasha arrives in a feline's form
Equipped with a cart to act as the dead's dorm
Taken away in a provisional palanquin
The most fearful of horrors that I have seen
We grieve two losses, one passing
One of body, and one of soul
Are we fated never to see him again?
Left to wander Gensokyo for eternity
Bereft of fulfillment in solitude
Truly, a fate worse than what jigoku offers
I kneel and bow to pray to Bhava-Agra
Spare him of this destiny of emptiness
Oh, Kasha, please, spare him this grievance
The gods will not answer my pleas
I offer my cadaver to your
Possession so I may join my kin
So I may join my kin!
Mourn the loss of my fallen kin
Atramentous clouds hang over
Symbolizing our grief
Fell tempests doth blow
Followed by demonic image
The casket with my kin
Forcibly relinquished from this ceremony
A kasha arrives in a feline's form
Equipped with a cart to act as the dead's dorm
Taken away in a provisional palanquin
The most fearful of horrors that I have seen
Fueling the pyres of former hell
Another tale of woe your soul will tell
Holy retribution for the depths you fell
I arrive at the toll of the bell
I carry the corpses for
My master, and for the
Fires that will otherwise
Die just like its kindling
A kasha arrives in a feline's form
Equipped with a cart to act as the dead's dorm
Taken away in a provisional palanquin
The most fearful of horrors that I have seen
We grieve two losses, one passing
One of body, and one of soul
Are we fated never to see him again?
Left to wander Gensokyo for eternity

Spare him of this destiny of emptiness
Oh, Kasha, please, spare him this grievance

So I may join my kin!
