In the Woods

As we venture deep in the woods
There's a man with a plan
And he's living it out in his own fantasy
And the story is told the same
He's a mystery man, and I'm told that he's going insane

Now the government's hanging around
So he makes a stand and takes them to the ground
So they bring him to the courts
And he's thrown away and passes along his name
What's his name

Someone told me long ago
That he killed another man
He was trying to make a living
In the graffiti-land
So he left his wife and kids
And headed to the city
Acting on his motives
The end was not so pretty

He met his plastic mates
That would later cast his fate
Sweet talking late at night
In the morning, out of sight
The memory that remains
Is the mystery that we gain
And the rustle in the trees
Is suspicion that enters me

As we trail, deep in the woods
There's a man undercover
And no one can make out his name
As fear shocks through my eyes
And no one now knows if we'll make it out alive
