Stray from Comforts

A mellow minded man I seem to be, yes I am conscious of this
Rarely do I stray upon a path I did not plan to prowl
Every now and then I seem to wish that I would find more courage
To forage through the fields without the fear, without the doubt
To forage through the fields without the fears, without the doubts
A part of me believes that I could change, that I could become bravery
Deeply breathe my soul into a state of mind that cures self slavery
Every time I try I seem to suffocate, my breathes brew bitters
Littering my thoughts with negativity and rot
Littering my thoughts with negativity and rot
The more I fail the more I learn about my pros and my cons
No longer I'll avoid the parts of me which emit painful sounds
Every time I face my inner woes I become strong and wise
Spying on my demons now they have nowhere to hide
Spying on my demons now they have nowhere to hide
As I do rise from underground I become one with my light
Brightly I shine upon the darkness which once caused fright
Every time I grow I see much more of why I once was small
Following your heart will guide this ship safely through dark
Following your heart will guide your ship safely through dark

Finally, I've learned to see the sun beneath the clouds
Finding strength in my emotions
As the leaves depart the trees I must find love in cold
Over throne comforts devotion
Over throne comforts devotion
Finding strength in my emotions
