Man I paid my dues you can't fill my shoes

Almost 30 years let's be real clear that I got that ear and I have no fear shed many tears
Lost a lot of my peers but I hold them dear homie this our year

Being at the top is great, but I'm far from home

A lot of knowledge wisdom and understanding
Paid for my mistakes and Blessings was granted
Went to church more and left it in God's Hands
Not religious by far but it's bigger than my plans
No more anger and a lot more gratitude
I had to level up and change my whole attitude
Now God took me to a whole nother latitude
I forgive em all I can't even be mad at you
