Gluttony

Standing out on my big wide porch
I look out at the Appalachian sky
Waiting for supper time
It's 4 o'clock, my tummy's dry
I can't remember the last time I ate something
I'm out of slim jims, out of jerky
I need something a bit more hearty
When on Earth will that bell start ringing

Smashed Tators,
They're so damn yummy
Smashed Tators
They're so damn yummy
I'll eat 'em up with a side of gravy
A big ass steak and cheese and broccoli
Give me a second helping on them tators
Smashed Tators

Supper's over, I'm not quite full yet
But it's time to get back out and start more working
l don't understand this problem I have,
But every single time something goes in my mouth
I forget about it, only to shove more in
It's sundown now, my tummy's aching
My appetite has started breaking
When on Earth will Supper 2 start serving?

Smashed Tators
They're so damn yummy
Smashed Tators
They're so damn yummy
I'll eat 'em up with a side of gravy
A big ass steak and cheese and broccoli
Give me a second helping on them tators
Smashed Tators

Everything is dark, I don't know where I am
A nurse just walked in and said, "hey son, are you okay?"
That's when I realized, that I had another dream
Back when I was a young lad and not hooked up to machines

Smashed Tators
They're so damn yummy
Smashed Tators
They gave me diabetes
I ate so many with sides of gravy
A two ton cow and an acre of broccli
So they sent me to the hospital
Cause I obese

Smashed Tators
They're so damn yummy
Smashed Tators
I miss them deeply
I lost 20 pounds this week
My doctors are proud of me
But it won't be enough
Cause my body weighs about 903
