What If (Impact: The Musical)

What if instead of focusing on what money buys
What if instead of buying into financial lies
What if there could be more to what our capital does
What if we started saving up for what will save us
What if we redefined what money is and can do
What if we thought of capital as energy too
What if we thought of cash in a completely new vein
What if we utilized our funds for impact not gain

Over the past centuries
A group of old men said that all these
Hard-earned
Dollars
Should be used to garner
Masses of mass wealth --
Though only one's own self
Would separately make equity
But now we see the worldly need
For us to change
Where our spare change is
Invested —
Lest in future ages
Our planet falls to dust
Their plan, it will combust
So we must
Do this task
which is
To ask

What if all sectors could unite with one view in mind
What if public and private entities were combined
What if profit and not-for-profit had the same goal
What if parting with dollars made you part of a whole
What if we reframed how we see our capital health
What if value of money isn't money itself
What if we coined new ways for coins to appreciate?
What if appreciation meant –
HEY - THAT'S REALLY GREAT!
THANKS!

Dueling dualities are our reality
But realistically think more holistically of what's in our pockets
We should lock it up
It's not enough
If you're poor – tough!
Don't trust these toxic claims –
It's time to change the
Game!

What if capital could be fuel for all to be free
What if equity only equaled equality
What if equity meant more than just building your stash
What if we could build something bigger with all that cash
What if we put back into the world all that we've gained
What if our concept of gaining was truly reframed
What if we started investing to make the world strong
what if, we utilized the concepts here in this song
