Miffy Is Ill

"How are you today?" asked Mother in the morn,
"I don't feel so well." Miff answers with a yawn.
Mother says "Oh dear!" while feeling Miffy's head,
"I think you have a fever, you should stay in bed.".

Miffy is ill, Miffy can't play.
Rest in bed for a day.
Put the light out, go to sleep now.
That will help it go away.

Who's that at the door? Her good friend Boris Bear,
"Can Miffy come outside? We're playing over there!".
Mother says "I'm sorry! Come another day.
Miffy has a fever, she's not well enough to play.".

Miffy is ill, Miffy can't play.
Rest in bed for a day.
Put the light out, go to sleep now.
That will help it go away.

In the afternoon, her friends are at the door,
And can you guess who those flowers will be for?
Mother says "How kind to come here all of you!
I see that friends can make a great medicine too.".

As Mother wakes her up on the very next day,
Miffy stretches out and says "I'm well enough to play!".

Miffy is fine, Miffy's okay.
No longer ill, you can play.
Go outside now, you're alright now.
It's a bright and sunny day.

Miffy is fine, Miffy's okay.
No longer ill, you can play.
Go outside now, you're alright now.
It's a bright and sunny day.
