Haunted House

I just moved in my new house today
Moving was hard, but I got squared away
Bells started ringing and chains rattled loud
I knew I'd done moved in a haunted house

Still I made up my mind to stay
Nothing was gonna drive me away
When I seen something that give me the creeps
It had one big eye and a-two big feet

I stood a-right still and I did the freeze
He did the lil' ol' stroll right up to me
Made a noise with his feet
He said: "Boy you better not be here when morning comes"

"Yes, Imma gonna be here when morning comes
I'll be right here, I ain't gon' run
I bought this lil' ol' house, and I'm boss
Ain't no haint gonna run me off"

Then I get in my kitchen, the stove it was blazing hot
Coffee was a-boiling in the ol' pot
Oh the grease had melted in my hand
Had a hunk of meat right in his hand

A-from out of space, there stood a man
On the hot stove, was a-pots and a-pan
Oh, he's telling me: "Tell ya right now son
You better not hang around when morning come"

"Jerry Lee Lewis will be here, when the morning come
Woo, be right here, I ain't gon' run
I bought this house and I am boss
Ain't no haint gonna run me off"
