Through the Garden

Walking through the garden with conviction
Smiling 'cause I don't know how to lie
Following the easy way of being
Foliage that reaches toward the sky

You can take just what you need
Without any care or attention
I can live inside the screen
To wait until I'm selected

Only in the dark can there be fiction
Luckily we walk towards the sun
Maybe all these flowers sense that yearning
To grow until they see what they become

It's okay
There our sacred phases
Hard to think
When there's something that's wrong
Rearrange in a single click
Recompose in an instant

Flowing into the deepest Grove
Feeling deboned
It's early, I'm early, yet everyone's here

Walking through the garden with a switchblade
Slicing through the roses standing tall
We're better off without a sense of purpose
To ease into the greatest trick of all
And there's no reason why some things are growing
We stand around not doing much at all
I'd like to think to that art can make me happy
A running truth receding to a crawl
