I didn't really think about it until now
I'm asking all the questions to show me how
To live in a world that doesn't know your name
But you can't keep making rules, you just play the game

Freezing all my money, so I can live
Friends to me are just a broken, rusty shiv
It's hard to handle paranoia just the same
I'd give up all I've got just to play the game

I work really hard but I can't seem to do
Things in the way I'll bite before I can chew
It's all in my head, my life is just a dream
Days passing by are faster than they seem

Cigarettes can help me pass the time
But it doesn't do enough to help me rhyme
I'll cook myself some dinner, dream of fame
In hopes of one day winning this stupid game

I work really hard but I can't seem to do
