I'm sad about it, and mad about it
Worrying about the things that we do
Don't care about it, and I'm fair about it
Guess there's nothing else I can do

When I see it, and I hear it
And I fear it, then I stop and
Think about my friends and their

But I don't wanna be quiet
I want to say the things on my mind

But find I'm at a loss sometimes

Hear people on it, and news about it
Who can you believe in the end
The news agenda, channel dependent
And neither side agrees what to send

When I see it, and can feel it
Know it's wrong but, just can't fight the
Your side my side split that we have
Built and that we each defend

But I don't wanna be quiet

Yeah, I'd like to talk about it

This divide is ever growing
Overheating, a huge gulf that
Threatens everything that we know
