From where I stand it seems like we're not thinking straight
We've got all year but still we do the shopping late
Better not mess this up
Maybe it's all too much
Not sure that it's right

To find a gift that I could never put in words
A single thing in place of adjectives and verbs
Ever the optimist
Thinking that I've got this

It's been coming for months
