The Wheel

Seven days ago I didn't know you
And now I'm crying cuz we goodbye
I sense a hurricane of feelings come through
My storm is quiet when I close my eyes

Round and round the wheel spins
When I'm on the edge I never can win
Round and round I'm safe and sound
When I put myself in the middle

I woke up this morning and it was raining
When it was clear and sunny yesterday
Instead of itching, moaning and complaining
I remember things don't always go my way

Round and round the wheel of fortune is
Turning, turning I am learning
Round the wheel of fortune I must remember
To stay in the center

She said my bus was leaving at 6:30
I pack my bag at five to get a seat
And now I find that I am three hours early
I pick up my guitar and make it sweet
