The crystal vas was resting against the gold-lined wallpaper
On the receptionist desk where the shadow of the chandelier was swaying in the air
And as I look to the tall glass window all I saw was moving shadows of empty people
Empty souls, but he's away now
I'm wasting away like my cigarettes were fading away
My teeth are still grinding from that molly we took in our room, I'm wasting away

But how he tasted every single day on the tip of my tongue
All that followed were fine mists of dust and his scent in the air
At that moment I could feel freedom calling my name, every bit of my being wants it, but I walked away, I fled.

Then from a distance, I saw a tall tower that resembles my life
How nature captured its beauty, how the sun beams against it
On top of that tower, right then and there I thought why did I walk? Why flee?
This is what I wanted, this is where we part ways
This is where it all begins, this is where it all ends, this is where I state my words...
It was hard to breathe but the thought of liberation, God
It gushed inside of my head like liquor poured into a pristine crystal glass
I saw the shadows coming closer
I felt the warmth of heaven's gate opening, dreading for me to come in
This is victory
And so I closed my eyes, right there, right where I stood
