Rhinos

Greater one horned, sumatran and javan rhinos live in Asia
While black and white who are the same shade of grey live in Africa
Black rhinos can run at speeds of 30 miles per hour
They have the biggest horns that can grow to one point three metres

Rhinos are known for their power
Big horns and skin like armour
They lack natural predators
Due to their appearance and features

Their horns aren't attached to their skulls, they're made of compressed keratin
Males have thicker horns while females are longer and thin
Horns can grow back and only African rhinos use theirs as weapons
While asian rhinos use their horns to pull vegetation

Rhinos like to wallow in mud
Which helps to block out the sun
Inhibiting biting bugs
And suffocate parasites that are stuck

No other living mammals have been around longer than sumatran rhinos
They can eat many plants in one day, sometimes up to 60 kilos
Greater one horned rhinos are semi aquatic, living in swamps they swim and dive
White rhinos courtships last for a day while mating can be an hour at a time

They can live to 50 years old and grow over 6 feet tall
Weighing two point seven tons, the largest rhinos of them all

Rhinos are solitary
They mark their territories
With middens, that are dung heaps
Which they will drag around with their feet
And rubbing their glands in their necks on trees
As each rhino has their own scent that's unique
