A Cigarette Symphony
A cigarette symphony plays to the crowd
As street lights of amber pulsate in and out
With every breath
There's headlights then tail lights
From shop signs that glow
So incredibly loud
But I need some silence now
A silhouette mystery hangs in the clouds
A shadow of company paces the ground
With every step
There's high tides
Then ship lights near starlight
That sings irreversible sounds
But I need some silence now
I'm completely overwhelmed
Passing cars scream ambient sounds
I'll leave the window open wide
And breathe it all in
I'm still hypnotised
As street lights of amber pulsate in and out
With every breath
There's headlights then tail lights
From shop signs that glow
So incredibly loud
But I need some silence now
A silhouette mystery hangs in the clouds
A shadow of company paces the ground
With every step
There's high tides
Then ship lights near starlight
That sings irreversible sounds
But I need some silence now
I'm completely overwhelmed
Passing cars scream ambient sounds
I'll leave the window open wide
And breathe it all in
I'm still hypnotised
