Am I dreaming?

At once serene, yet scared to death

I was walking through the clouds
Never lost but never found
Searching for significance
Successful as Sisyphus
When a stranger crossed my path
Eyes hidden by a boater hat
Asked me if I knew the way
I didn't know what that meant, so they said
