Lonely Roads

I am so tired
It feels like my legs just hold me down
When I make a sound
No ones around
As I face it into the ground
But as long as you are with me
There is nothing else to fear
As I can't walk alone
Down these lonely roads
I look up into the sky
Wondering why
If Jesus can please us
Why isn't he here to save

I'm done debating
I'm done with waiting
I'm done with everybody self-isolating
Why are the rich ones dominating
Why are the sick ones populating
Why does discriminating be assimilating
And those incriminating are just now evacuating
Armenia's obliterating can be intimidating
While the earth is deteriorating
I cannot help but think
We are all going mad
The situation is getting bad
Our planet is dying

But as long as you are with me
There is nothing else to fear
As I can't walk alone
Down these lonely roads
I look up into the sky
Wondering why
If Jesus can please us
Why isn't he here to save

I really do not get it
There is something wrong with it
Politicians going crazy
Making it illegal to abort babies
Everybody looking at me thinking I'm crazy
Nobody wants to think they should save me
Yeah I support the President
Shut up before I get menacing
With medicine
When we all do die
I'll say I told you so in July
When the children cry
You won't be wondering why

But as long as you are with me
There is nothing else to fear
As I can't walk alone
Down these lonely roads
I look up into the sky
Wondering why
If Jesus can please us
Why isn't he here to save

I am so tired
It feels like my legs just hold me down
When I make a sound no one's around
As I plummet into the ground
You're here with me, right?
I promise I'll be with you forever tonight
And I will never, ever, ever, ever let you go
