Clouded Blueprint
Misunderstood Robin Hood was alone in the room
Looking through dust on window's surface he stood
And waited for her to walk up the door like she once would
Heatwaves flowed through streets of the city
Birds sent warm greetings to the approaching May
But thick layer of ice crust climbed up the spine and kept on spreading day after day
He watched episodes of ancient myths and archaic legends being broadcasted on a White wall
Heard voices tell him olden biblical tales, repeating that he must never let go of hope
Shimmering void of wet dilated eyes watched a man dance on round stage of the moon
Quiet jokester listened to distant laughter, smiled, and calmly died on the floor swallowed By doom
Sometimes you think you gotta let go
Sometimes you try to forget and move on
Sometimes it's easier to run away
But sometimes when it gets hard you gotta hold on
Sometimes you can't find a way out because it's too dark
Sometimes you see the light but can't move, feeling stuck
Sometimes you crash and need a hand to pull you from wreckage
And sometimes you hear a voice but already sunk too deep to be rescued
He drove into the empty night
To cool off heart in freezing gusts of wind
To put an end to candle's burning cry
He went to meet the silent grim
He gave half-life to summer's love
As dark pearls of her tears dropped on sand and washed away
When pain, engraved into the mind, was crawling outta the chest
His bare hands carved out bust of destiny without having any rest
While he shaped the lost dream out of sharp silver crumbs
A piercing ray of light was a blunt quill, shaping him at the same time
Letters carried crosses over crumpled piece of paper
Symbols shed scorching blood across his final manifesto
He placed three dots, pacing beneath the smoking circuit
Each time he tried to link 'em in a line, he's drawn a circle
As above, the last word was placed upon the fallen star
And X marked the overheating spot
So below, scars formed an ardent crux atop the melting heart
And the seal of god impressed name of the one with boiling wax
He stood still in the room, watching how his favorite memories lapsed
On the outside, he looked cold and relaxed
But on the inside was swimming in magma and surfing the never-ending peak of burning Fever
With nothing but hope left in Pandora's box
He quickly glanced into the mirror
The ghost merely shrugged and whispered, "Perhaps"
Then raised a black flag and sailed down a crimson river
On the floor of silent room lays a lonely piece of paper
It isn't empty, and yet has no words
The only writing on it is - three faded dots
Sometimes you fall, sometimes life ends during a fight
Sometimes you get tired, sometimes you wanna give up
But sometimes you fail only cause you didn't believe and couldn't step up
Sometimes you paint a smile because nothing can cheer you up
Sometimes you're in pain, hiding tears under layers of make-up
Sometimes you can't sleep cause you've lost your dream
But sometimes you gotta lose before you get a chance to win
Sometimes the hour of fate is hovering nigh
Sometimes you close your eyes, expecting to die
And sometimes you open 'em up, and under sparkling starry skies
You hold her hand just as you did that one special night in July
Looking through dust on window's surface he stood
And waited for her to walk up the door like she once would
Heatwaves flowed through streets of the city
Birds sent warm greetings to the approaching May
But thick layer of ice crust climbed up the spine and kept on spreading day after day
