Glow in the Dark

Though I'm afraid of the dark
I dove off the coast of Africa
It was night, I couldn't see
Could feel big things
Swimming round me
But then I waved my hand
And the plankton glowed
Like a super power
I had never known
We both had glow in the dark
Stars on the ceiling
When we was just kids
My Dad put em up
And I remember thinking
That's how he shows love
You grew up in a small town
On a hill of your family name
Raspberries in the summer
Jumped out the boat when the capelin came
Salt on the air
Sound of the waves
Ocean's in our blood
From whence we came

A little bit of magic
In our suburban neighbourhood
The forest alive with fireflies
Like a billion stars in the night's sky
Red fishing stages out on the dock
The sea was still as silk at 10 o'clock
Make the water fluoresce
Blue, blue wedding dress
Til the moon light up the bay
