Black Pillar of Hatred

I float from room to room with bottle in hand
Love to be found here nevermore, a tired and broken man

Oh what I would give to stare that bastard in his eyes
To be present for the final moments of his wretched life
And as my malice quells I hear it from the woods
Cries of agony begging to be understood

Their screams sound so familiar
Could it be?

Post mortem beckoning, have I gone mad?
My children crying to me begging for their dad

Trance like state I venture out the wailing as my guide
Drawn to the woods with senses numb, seeking what was once alive
And as the cacophony comes to a climax
I stand before a pillar, an obelisk of black

Visions. Visions
Visions of that horrid night
Hatred. Hatred
Flooding to my minds eye
Fermented discontent, the need to end a life
My purpose realized, the evil must die

The pillar starts to glow and it's whispering my name
What does this mean, have I gone insane?
I reach out without thinking and it's cold to the touch
I close my eyes and the world fades away

I'm in a world that is not my own
A world of valleys, mountains caked in snow
I know not how I got here surely this can't be
But in the distance the killer of my family

Post mortem beckoning, have I gone mad?
My children crying to me begging for their dad

I'll chase that motherfucker down
This is where he dies
I'll chase that motherfucker dies
I'll spill his blood like wine

Vengeance will be forever mine!
