With the Past Time

Up late, watching the moon over meadows
Right now, I picture a life in the middle of night
As day breaks I take to the road for an answer
I take stock, to question the thoughts that I had over night

A new day, another quest for direction
Take a break, this morning has brought difficult times, neighbourhood chimes
We seek a life which we once had tasted
Gotta run another time to be asking for why

With the past time we echo chimes for life
Although the last time we had a tiny strife
I can feel it a nervous cry tonight

Wth the past time we rather sing about
From the last time you saw this face of doubt
I can feel it a nervous cry tonight

Summer days wash the salt from oceans of weight
With a smile make a person free from the bait
I can have it a happiness brings with it life
