When I was growing up
I made a vow to be different
See I was part of a system
I've seen homies buried in dirt or end up prison
Like many I was raised by a single mother
I was infatuated by the money and respect

When I ended up in the hospital
With death over watching me I knew I had a purpose
I had a story to tell

For years I've been painting this masterpiece
It's far from being done
Everyday I pray to god that my strokes on this canvas never change

Money, woman, respect cause it shows the fame
