Winters child
Found in the snow
A child that had no place to go
Abandoned by a mother
Who could not support a child

She's all alone
She hopes someday to find a home
But for now she'll walk the streets so cold
With only alleys to call home

All alone on city streets
With tattered clothes and cold bare feet
Turned eighteen years just days ago
Now winters child has come to know
That she's a child of God
Winters child is gonna pack
Her things and leave this town
And find her place among the world
Because the new faith she has found
Has taught her that no soul is lost
And rewards will be received
And the child has opened up her heart
To her new faith cause she believes
