Leon's Pond

I wrapped up the afternoon early
Tryin' not to work too hard
Almost tore off the screen door
Headin' down to Leon's Pond

Leon got more than crappie
Leon got more than brim
He got them 12lb. bass
And when I catch 'em lord I won't tell him

Going down to catch my fill
He got chickens in the yard
And I ran into a duck named Bill

We don't own much for nothin'
Put it all in a gunny sack
