Rom-Coms!

At the beginning of this story
I was alone but I was feeling doubtful
With just a couple of blankets wear them
Warm them wear them warm them
Then throw them out
I wanted to find a source of warmth
A bit more permanent
But I never did, not ever, not once
And I'm still without still without still without
I'm still without still without still without
Now that you know what's going on
I'll shift my focus to rom coms

Every time I've seen one
The space between the start and end
Is observed by an altered mind
Like the first time I stayed up past one
Or I was distracted by all my friends
Or I was drunk earlier that night

Alright
Out of sight

Anyone can watch a romantic comedy
All you need is one couch, one eye, and one TV
And be able to use that eye to digest what's
Displayed on the screen
She said guess so I guessed what
We got high and watched one
But it's was kinda blurred
I guess I was check out
Never registered
My attention was gone
I was nodding off
Please don't let me sleep
Sleep sleep sleep sleep to long 'cuz

I'm not nervous around you
But to tell the truth I am with me
Wasting the afternoons
Oh, like we'll never have to leave
And I live at your mom's now
But I brought just enough clothes with me
But I don't know
If you're ever going to meet my family

Every time I've seen you
The space between your toes and head
Just flashes before by my eyes
But I've never got a good look at you
Like a person I don't know this well
Or the one on the pedestrian sign

Take it a little slower

If I if I slipped out slipped out slipped out
I'd end up end up with
No memories of your mouth
Goodbye goodbye cold feet cold feet
I threw out my electric blanket

Stick it out or you'll never know
What they were talking about in that show
Pay attention to the real world
You'll find there's no such thing as a real girl

I'm not nervous around you
But to tell the truth I am with me
Wasting the afternoons
Oh, like we'll have infinity
I appreciate the effort you're making
You know nothings ever quite so easy
I'm getting better at my observations
Do you wanna watch something on TV?
