Extreme

I walked from the light to the dark
People laughing behind my back
Outside there was that dog who barked
Roaming in Cubbon park

Streets were full of young and begging fools
Around people looked so cool
But behind the smile on their faces
They would not even look at me

Skycrappers would look down on poverty
And blue smog would hide misery
Motorcycles would run through the crowd
Of which the eyes were full of lies

Down the road would be those pretty girls
They would call themselves westernized
But they had lost their desi's elegance
And rather looked like escort girls

That man praise to almighty Gods
The same man abuses children
Mind that vicious gang of policemen
Bribe them or run away

That lady is proud and loud and fat
Fattened by crap donald's
This one rather looks like a skeleton
'Cause she eats from your garbage

Look that brother has so many bucks
He belongs to the highest caste
This poor girl was born untouchable
Don't touch her or you'll lose, you'll lose your soul

I would call your laws hypocrisy
And your rules stupidity
I would call your beggars dignity
And your dead humanity

One day a thousand Gandhis will rise
One day a billion saviors
One day your traditions will vanish
For the best or for the worst

I prefer a thousand million poor
Than a thousand billion cars
If every well-off fellow would care
But they just don't give a damn

I can't stop you weird evolution
You go left then you go right
You will change a veil into a thong
And an ape into a God!

We can't stop your civilizations
You bring life, you bring death
Thought you made us better and clever
But you turned us into killers!

If God is, He's good and bad and mad!
He's great, He's evil!
I would like him not to look like us
But there's you and there's Jesus!

How long could I bear that extreme life
Before my love turns into hate?
Before all that explodes in my head
Before I fall down to Hell!

Walking from the dark to the light
Now I'm waiting for my flight
Hope my plane will crash into the night
Then I'll be done with my fight

Yeah!
