Make Some Sense

In all the circumstance
Where I made myself
I'm looking for the one
Who I once was
Whatever shook my core
Made me this way
I was in hot pursuit for meaning

I thought I'd make it up
I was spiteful
Said I could make it work
I could take flight
I'd make myself a name
And I'd be great
Then I could make some sense out of myself

Well I say rest in peace
There's nothing else to say
I'm gonna get what's mine
There's nothing stopping me

(Go to war but only with your fears)
(Depression is a beast that only wants to live)
(If there's a room for the two of you)
(You manage and make peace)
(Be alone but never hate the world)
(Be honest, you don't like to drink that much)
(Try to make a treehouse for your kid)
(You won't know the half of it until you finish it)
(Don't write poetry unless its for someone)
(Share what feels important when you can)
(Up all night, the backyard and your friends)
(Get the blankets, iced tea and make silly bets)
(And most importantly, don't worry)
(It always works out)
