Tripping on my life
Despite setbacks and fights
Living my best life, whilst getting more wise
In her I confide, take it in my stride, she's pure grace inside
It's time, to let go of my worry's and put my problems aside
Writing lyrics in the night
Looking at the moon and it's white
I'm light but sometimes shit gets heavy alright
She's my heaven, my peace and my wine
Time after time, we connect and realign
Poetry that climbs, destined to rhyme
Some still ask why?
Am I high?
Why?
Why do they still ask why?

Tripping on a rhyme, some work the streets, whilst I ride
Look for the night
Look to become a better person inside
Reaching and stretching for new heights
I'm in flight, pure and tight, no longer high, been to many doctors and now I reside in my emotions full time
One minute happy, one minute sad, one moments hard, while another moments rad
Geez life can be bad
I get mad
I'm tripping but I'm still not like my dad
I'm completely honest and glad
Grateful for the life I've had
This life ain't a trap, rather a reflection of that
Lessons in life repeat, until they never come back

Sometimes I feel like I should just die but I will never take the easy road out
I sprout
Let go of all my doubt and remember I'm proud
See through the clouds, the fog, the now, some may ask how?
One foot in front of the other and blow
She's keeping me alive, what happens when she dies?
Will I be able to stay alive?
I'll be completely dead inside
My mind is trying to stay strong and live for the memories and times
She's my Angel, spreading my wings to fly
So I guess I'll continue to live my life
Oh my god, she's the best girl I've ever met, alright
