E-Drugstore

Mixed and matched and swallowed some pills
Do what I have to,to pay my bills
Sometimes going home is not an option

Late at night
Music drifts in
From the bar next door but I don't mind cause I never sleep.

Saturday night and nothing's all right
If I had somebody we'd probably fight
Jack & coke and half the drugstore to knock me out

Take a walk
Come and see me now
I'm living in a two room place on Silver Street.

And if you asked me for a reason
I'd have to tell you I don't know
I guess the passing time
The changing of the season
Made me want to find a new place to go.

Ten in the morning by the empty bus stop
Dirty snow melted off the blacktop
The wind is cold now
But carries the promise of spring.

Summer's long
This year I'll have the time
To do the things I've talked about
For so long.
