The North Wind
It is said where I'm from
If I ride the North Wind
I will find the One
I'm searching for
It is said where I'm from
If I ride the North Wind
I will find the One
I'm searching for
It's a cold wind that blows
But in its gust it well knows
That the gale is worth
Being hale for
It's a cold wind that blows
But in its gust it well knows
That the gale is worth
Being hale for
I pass each lamp post
Over the fjords
I soar the skies
With all of the birds
The greenest glow
That's in the night
Boreas guides me
With his light
Boreas with hand so fair
North Wind blows
To show me where
When I'm East of the Sun
And I'm West of the Moon
The Norns will bless me with
Their greatest boon
Lay the table with wine
And gold apples so fine
Life's feast here is laid
Better than best-laid plans
Go, and hear the wild song
Of the Snow Queen who longs
To show you your other
Who dwells there
There's a donkey and cart
Fur-lined vests for you too
To take on your journey to find what's true
Poetry may counsel thee
To steer clear of this Majesty
Of winds so brusk they shake the dew
But Something must awaken you!
They say the winds lay waste to your
Gardens green from petrichor
But what if they don't steal your rose
But aid you to find what was always yours?
It is said where I'm from
If I ride the North Wind
I will find the One
I'm searching for
I will find the one
I'm searching for
It is said where I'm from
If I ride the North Wind
I will find the One
I'm searching for
I will find Him
I will find Him
I will ride the Wind
I will do what it takes
As the trees with it shake!
It's a cold wind that blows
But in its gust it well knows
That the gale is worth
Being hale for
It's a cold wind that blows
But in its gust it well knows
That the gale is worth
Being patient for
That the gale is worth
Being hale for
That the gale is worth
Being patient for
That the gale is worth
Being hale for
That the gale is worth
Being hale for
That the gale is worth
Being hale for
That the gale is worth
Being hale for
It's a cold wind that blows
