Words of hate turning into bullets
Indifferent to death;
The lives it keeps taking from us
We shouldn't be afraid to walk outside
We shouldn't be afraid to live our lives but

Will it be the last time you hear their voice?
Hate louder than love;
It makes so much noise
Grief and sadness take up our screens
The world is burning but you tell us to dream

I don't want to cry anymore
The tears don't wash the trauma away
Do we just not care anymore?
Are we just gonna accept this wave of hate?

We shout
Our fears
But they're not listening;
Haven't for years
It's easy
To give up on hope
But we deserve to fight and not just cope

I never understood that kind of hate
The decision made;
They don't hesitate
Before trying to see past the surface
Past the lies that some lives are worth less

Hate is taught;
Demonstrated
You have chance to decide what your fate is
Repeat the past stories of hate?
