Fragment

So much I will never see
Feel experience and wonder
Older I'll have less time
Younger I lack the focus

I see the world in fragments
Time not enough to walk the miles
I fly to distant places
I don't see what's on the way

Flying to destinations
Not aware of the journey
No people seen along the way
They looked up at my airplane

I could travel by car
Eyes fixed on the slab
Zombies at truck stops
Look as tired as I am

Scenery monotony
My time is slipping by
I have alot more to see
Increasing urgency

Time is suspended
Flying over water
The sea is but one fragment
To vast to hold as one

Are all blue oceans the same?
Too vast for me to know this
Fish live life corals coral
My observing not needed

Stars and space unending
Too vast I cannot grasp
I use imagination
To describe lonely fragments

So much I will never see
Feel experience and wonder
Time not enough to walk the miles
Rush to see more fragments
Rush to see more fragments
