He had a way with words I'd never heard before
From day one when he walked through the door
I never felt something so perfect
His smile shined and his eyes locked with mine
And for a moment we were frozen in time
I guess I should've known I'd blow it
The days went on, the nights were long

Looking through his pictures when I'm all alone
