Cozy Corner Bar

When the night time falls like a hammer.
You'll go deaf from the din and the clammor.
You'll suddenly stammer and stagger
at the cozy corner bar.

There's a buncha young lads wanna meet ya.
Grab a pint and a shot and they'll seatcha.
By the end of the night they may beatya at the cozy corner bar.

So light em up! And drink em down.
It's a clever endeavor to get drunk as ever. and lift a coupla gowns.
So line em up and knock em down.
They'll be dance and romance if
chance gets you down to the Cozy Corner Bar.

We got bands playin' jigs, reels and ballads.
We got 'tatoes and fishes and salads.
You might wind up the night lookin' pallid at the Cozy Corner Bar.
There's a girl who's passed out in the corner.
Guess the bartender, he didn't warn her.
Drinks are stiff as the man who had
bourne her down at the Cozy Corner Bar.

So light em up! And drink em down.
It's a clever endeavor to get drunk as ever. and lift a coupla gowns.
So line em up and knock em down.
They'll be dance and romance if
chance gets you down to the Cozy Corner Bar.

There's a crane you can see from the window.
There's a bulldozer parked by a Pinto.
The town don't like the business you're into at the Cozy Corner Bar.
One day a notice appeared on the the front door.
It said, Opening soon- a new pet store.
Lads, it looks like we all here are done for. No more Cozy Corner Bar.
So light em up! And drink em down.
"LAST CALL".
Though you can't lift your head and you're feeling half dead.
And you'd almost rather drown.
So line em up and knock em down.
We'll drown sorrow tomorrow at the new cozy bar
At the other side of town
