I got some great advice from Emery Gordy
And that's one thing he always told me
He says,"If you get a better offer, man, or you get a better deal
Do what you said you'd do", you know
He told me that, and then he told me to, um
He said, uh, "Don't ever be the best musician
In the band you'll never learn anything"
So, I spent my whole life
Just trying to surround myself
With people that can play me under the table
And I get better that way
