Oscars 2019: the complete winners list
The 2019 Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. Now in its 91st year, the annual award honors cinematic achievements in the film industry. For the first time in over 30 years, the ceremony did not have a host - but it was opened by Queen with Adam Lambert.
"Green Book" is the big winner, taking home the best picture prize. But the two music-themed movies - "A Star Is Born" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" did pretty well. Lady Gaga was nominated for both best actress and original song (for "Shallow") and took home the award for best song.
"Bohemian Rhapsody"'s Rami Malek (playing the role of freddie Mercury) won the award as best actor. But the movi was awarded with more prizes.
