The Cats

The cats are walking down the alleyway tonight.
Licking clean the cans from the rubbish pile.
The air is fragrant with the smell of chicken bones and the rest of the cities debris- this smoggy night.

Hold me tightly my dear, I need you now,
To feel less lonely, in this lonely place.
When everybody stands so close but won't look me in the eye, it's such a twisted life so
Hold me tight.

Like pigs within a cage we are controlled,
By traffic lights and other molds.
Most of us sing to the same old tune,
Except for a special few who see through the hazy lights,
to a better view.

Hold me tightly my dear, I need you now.
To feel less lonely, in this lonely place,
When everybody stands so close but won't look me in the eye, it's such a crazy life so
Hold me tight.
It's such a twisted life so
Home me tight.
It's such a crazy life so
Hold me tight.
