Mr. Wilson

Joe Wilson's got a son and wife,
They're the key to his life.
Got a big big house, and expensive car,
Worked real hard to get this far.

He's been deceiving in a cold dark way,
Something's about his house, he would of stayed.
As he goes out on his evening date,
Calls Mrs. Wilson, said he's working late!

Well how does he sleep at night?
How does he hold his head high?
How does he take this out on someone else,
When he can only blame himself?

Sitting, home at the table, not a word to say,
Mrs. Wilson's afraid to ask about his day,
Pushing his food around, won't look her in the eye,
Trying to think of a way she would believe his lies.

Throw's down his plate and slams the door,
Now she's left to clean his mess off the floor.
How much longer will it last, living another life,
Making love to another, while sleeping with his wife!

Well how does he sleep at night?
How does he hold his head high?
How does he take this out on someone else,
When he can only blame him...?

He made a promise from the start,
He gave a vow, 'til death do part,
Now leaves her with a broken heart,
Now leaves her with a broken heart!

Joe Wilson's lost his wife and son,
Knows the pain he caused can't be undone,
Question, why did he take this out on someone else?
When he can only blame his own damn self?

Well how does he sleep at night?
How does he hold his head high?
How does he take this out on someone else,
When he can only blame himself?

Well how does he sleep at night?
How does he hold his head high?
How does he take this out on someone else,
When he can only blame himself?
