Panorama Night

Mildred met with disaster
Ashamed to tell the mother
Mildred met with disaster
It happened at Panorama
She left the crowd and went somewhere drinking
When some pan-man thief she belongings
She ran home, she eyes full of tears
Relating the mother of the affairs:

She said mommy, I know it ain't right
Don't beat me mommy, oh God
I was feeling tired, tired, tired
Darling, I tried to restrain the Captain
But he wouldn't take me higher
Mom I lose it Panorama night

Mom this is how he tricked me
He waited until I was tipsy
Then he started moving his finger
Like an octopus round meh shoulder
Down and down the finger start creeping
As though he knew where meh purse ah was hiding
Although ah struggle, although ah plea
He still wouldn't take no notice of me!

Mommy I know it ain't right
Don't beat me mommy, oh God
I was feeling tired, tired, tired
Darling, I tried to restrain the Captain
But he wouldn't take me higher
Mom I lose it Panorama night

Mom ah can't believe how it happened
For a start meh purse wasn't open
I had meh legs crossed together
And holding meh purse in the center
All at once something got meh frightened:
It was the spider hands of the Captain
The time I turn to give him a slap
The purse just vanish out of meh lap!

Mommy I know it ain't right
Don't beat me mommy, oh God
I was feeling tired, tired, tired
Darling, I tried to restrain the Captain
But he wouldn't take me higher
Mom I lose it Panorama night

Mom if you wouldn't beat me
I will tell the truth of the story
I was only blaming the Captain
But it's not the way how it happened
I'm beginning to fart and I admit
Mom is me who told him to take it:
He begged so pitifully
I broke down and gave him as a souvenir!

Mommy I know it ain't right
Don't beat me mommy, oh God
I was feeling tired, tired, tired
Darling, I tried to restrain the Captain
But he wouldn't take me higher
Mom I lose it Panorama night
