Remember

Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us; behold, and see our shame and sorrow
Our inheritance is turned unto strangers, our houses unto aliens
We have become orphans and fatherless
Our mothers are as widows

Our fathers have sinned, and are gone;
And we have borne their iniquities

The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning
For the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes roam upon it
Wherefore did you forget us forever, and forsake us for so long a time?
Turn us unto Thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old

See our shame
And see our sorrow
Remember days of old
We followed thee in the wilderness - the land that was not sown

Don't forget us, don't forsake us
Forever - for so long
Turn us to you - we shall be turned
Renew our days as of old

Thus saith the LORD: There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem
Every man with his staff in his hand for very age
And as the Lord said - the broad places of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets of Jerusalem
