We Are in Trouble

It seems that we have not learned the mistakes of those, who've gone before us
And we have not taken notes from the Holocaust, genocides, segregations and the crusades

Cause when one man declares his religion is better than rest, you know we're in trouble
And when one man thinks his race is superior to the rest, you know we're in trouble we're in trouble, you know we are, we are in trouble

How long will we allow pride to dictate the way we, treat our fellow man
And how many wars could we have solved if we just learned, to live in grace and mercy

Cause when one man declares his religion is better than rest, you know we're in trouble
And when one man thinks his race is superior to the rest, you know we're in trouble we're in trouble, you know we are, we are in trouble

How long will it take before we realize that we are, we are, oh we are in this together

If you hurt your brother, you hurt yourself
If you hurt your sister, you hurt yourself

Cause we are, we are oh we are in this together
