Pyramid

Well the desert showed me how to shield my eyes,
And the forest taught me all she knew about disguise,
The ocean showed me how to sleep in peace,
The skies they opened up and taught me how to believe,

And we all get stuck before we start to grow,
And when we do we need the sun,
We need her glow,
And we're young right now but some day we'll grow old,
And what's warm right now might soon become so cold,

And it took a thousand years to build this wall,
And it may take a thousand more for it to fall,
Then we'll pick up all the pieces and start again,
This time I think we'll build a pyramid instead,

And I miss the way you listened to my chest,
And the way you spinned around the world,
And old hard crest,
And I really liked to have you by my side,
You brought a part of me right back to life
